However, this is NOT dead. Not by far. To prove this, I'm going to put up another idea for the synopsis, and the Prologue's outline.
Synopsis:
What if there was such thing as a channel, a broadcast that one could view when the clock strikes twelve that revealed a world much darker and twisted than the world we live in? What would you do if you saw a person commit suicide after being consumed by their own insanity and doubt? What was to be an innocent urban legend to attempt by four high-school students in
This in itself is just a little rough draft of it, but I thought it made it sound more mysterious than the last one.
Here's the Prologue's outline, or what I'm going to make the prologue about, as promised.
Prologue Outline:
A woman stands in a dark room, clutching her head, tears running down her face. However, the tears are made of blood. She screams wildly, and stumbles around the room. She fumbles around for an object, any object. Anything with a sharp point with what she could stab herself with. She cuts herself on a shard of glass as she is searching for an object. Crying out, she quickly grabs a hold of it and positions it to aim for her throat. With her pupils already dilating, cold sweat running down her body, she makes an instant decision. She takes the shard and thrusts it through her neck, causing a geyser of blood to erupt from it. However, it was taking too much time for her. Too much pain to bear. She stifles a sharp cry with what ability she has left, and rushes to the rope hanging in a loop in the middle of the room. Stepping on the chair already in position, she takes the rope and fastens it around her neck. She kicks the chair from under her, breaking her neck. In the background, a camera videotapes the entire, graphic scene.
Pretty chilling right? Stay tuned for more updates. I might post the full prologue soon.
